Finca San Lorenzo is the only rural tourism house with gardens and swimming pool for exclusive use within walking distance of the monumental area of Santiago de Compostela. Its surprising location, embedded in the small valley formed by the Sarela river, has remained oblivious to the urban development of the capital of Galicia and has allowed the rural character of the area to be preserved, an oasis of Atlantic nature just a step away from the historic center of the city. The farm house itself is a restored 18th century mill that preserves its interior canals intact, the working stones to convert the grain into flour and other elements of great ethnographic value that the traveler will be able to discover during their stay, like the traditional raised stone oven that still stands out in your kitchen, or the inscriptions and drawings chiselled into the huge stone slabs that make up the walls of the house.
